This week on my Stress-Reduction Phone Seminar we had an interesting conversation about Chakras and colors. It will benefit you the most if you take the 45 minutes, sit in a quiet room by yourself and devote yourself to the experience. The call starts with a meditation and end with a meditation and the discussion is in the middle.
I think that the connection between Chakras and Colors and the power color has is fascinating. We have a physical body system and we have an energy system called Chakras. Our body is like a vehicle. Chakras are the wheels of life that carry this vehicle around. Just like any vehicle needs gas or batteries, our body does too and we need to re- charge our batteries daily. Of course, we need to take care of the body (the vehicle), but we can also work to replenish our energy. Stress drains our power. When we lose our power we don’t have enough energy to live, to face life challenges. There are 7 main power centers or Chakras. Each Chakra is located in a different area of the body and has a specific frequency which is the same as the frequency of a specific color. One of the easiest ways to balance your Chakras is to stimulate them with colors. If there is a color you would never wear, check what Chakra this color is related to and ask yourself if you have any imbalance with this Chakra. Use this color in different ways: wear it, buy accessories, and get flowers or candles with this color.
For example, let’s say that someone doesn’t like blue. Blue is associated with the throat Chakra which is related to communication, it might mean that this person has some challenges with communication or that using this color will make it easier for him to communicate.
So be creative and add colors to your life. I love talking about Chakras and colors so feel free to always ask me specific questions.
